Expansion Vessel

Expansion vessels are essential components in heating systems that help manage the expansion and contraction of water due to temperature changes. As the water heats up, it expands in the vessel, creating additional volume.

The expansion vessel absorbs this increase in volume by compressing the air in the chamber. During the cooling phase, the compressed air pushes the water back into the system.

This process prevents excessive pressure build-up, safeguards against damage to the heating system, and ensures optimal performance and longevity.
