Description
Antifreeze Valve for Heat Pump Systems
The antifreeze valve is designed to help protect heating and cooling circuits from freezing by allowing water to drain from the system when the water temperature falls to 3°C. It is particularly suitable for heat pump systems, helping to reduce the risk of damage to the heat pump and associated circuit components during power outages or periods of low temperatures.
The valve features a durable brass body, stainless steel springs and EPDM seals. It is available in several connection sizes to suit different installation requirements.
Key Features
- Helps protect heating and cooling circuits against freezing.
- Opens at a water temperature of 3°C.
- Closes when the water temperature reaches 4°C.
- Brass valve body manufactured to EN 12165 CW617N.
- Stainless steel springs and EPDM seals.
- Maximum working pressure of 10 bar.
- Suitable for water as the operating medium.
- Available with threaded connections or a 28mm copper pipe connection, depending on the version.
