Uponor Thermo Twin 25mm + 25mm 175mm Pre-Insulated District Heating Pipe

The Uponor Thermo Twin 25mm + 25mm 175mm is a pre-insulated underground heating system designed for the distribution of heating water in district heating networks, underground heat mains and building connections. The Thermo Twin configuration combines flow and return lines within one insulated jacket, simplifying installation and reducing trench width compared with installing separate heating lines.

The system forms part of the Uponor Ecoflex underground insulated heating range and is commonly used for heat main connections between plant rooms, housing developments and individual buildings.

Each pipe uses PE-Xa service pipes with EVOH oxygen barrier (SDR 11) surrounded by PE-X foam insulation and protected by a durable HDPE outer jacket, making it suitable for buried district heating installations and underground heat main distribution systems.

The twin configuration includes a “dog bone” separation profile between the pipes to clearly identify the flow and return connections during installation.

The system is rated for up to 6 bar pressure and 95°C operating temperature and is designed for use with Uponor Wipex 6 bar couplings.

Typical applications include district heating pipe systems, underground heat mains and heating connections between buildings.
