Uponor Thermo Twin 32mm + 32mm 175mm Pre-Insulated District Heating System

The Uponor Thermo Twin 32mm + 32mm 175mm is a pre-insulated underground heating system designed for the distribution of heating water in district heating networks, underground heat mains and building connections. The Thermo Twin configuration combines flow and return heating lines within one insulated jacket, helping to reduce trench width and simplify installation compared with separate heating connections.

Part of the Uponor Ecoflex underground insulated heating system, Thermo Twin is commonly used for heat main installations between plant rooms, residential buildings and commercial heating systems.

Each system uses PE-Xa service pipes with EVOH oxygen barrier (SDR 11) surrounded by PE-X foam insulation and protected by a durable HDPE outer jacket, making it suitable for buried district heating installations and underground heat main distribution.

The twin configuration includes a moulded spacer between the pipes, helping installers identify flow and return connections during installation.The system is rated for up to 6 bar pressure and 95°C operating temperature and is designed for use with Uponor Wipex 6 bar couplings.

Typical applications include district heating systems, underground heat mains and heating connections between buildings.
