Uponor Wipex Flange DN50 2”

The Wipex Flange is specifically designed for connecting crosslinked polyethylene pipes, produced by Uponor, for hot and cold water in domestic and district heating installations. The Flange is available for pipe dimensions 25-110 mm for aqua pipes.

The Wipex Flange is designed to give an excellent tight grip. The gripping strength is higher than the tensile strength of the pipe, and the sealing performance is unaffected by temperature fluctuations.

Wipex Flanges are robust and simple in design, can be fitted very easily and quickly even in difficult locations and confined spaces.

• The Wipex Flange is patented, tested according to DVGW (Germany), NKB (Sweden), CSTB (France), KIWa (Holland) and approved.
• The main components of the fittings are made of DR brass (resistant to dezincification).
• O-rings are used to make a seal between the tee and pipe fittings.
• Additional sealing using Teflon or hemp is not required when used with Wipex products.
• The Wipex fitting system allows for an extremely wide range of connection combinations.
• Only tools needed are two fixed wrenches plus a pair of pliers.

The Wipex Flange is suitable with the following Uponor pipe systems: Aqua Single, Aqua Twin, Thermo Single, Thermo Twin, Thermo Mini and Quattro.
