Description

Buffer tanks for heat pumps serve dual roles for hot or cold water – they act as hydraulic separators and as buffer storage.

The role of the hydraulic separator is to ensure that the flow rates between the heat pump and the terminal remain independent of each other. Additionally, the buffering capability minimises the frequency of heat pump cycling, enhancing its lifespan and efficiency. Wall-mounted energy buffer tanks are designed for convenient wall installations.
